TAROS NOVA was the contractor for the supply and construction of the timber roof and timber bridges at the largest Waterpark facility in the Czech Republic.  The roof for the main pool building of trapezoidal shape with dimensions of 72 m x 28 m and 41 m is made with the use of 15 glulam beams sized 180-220 x 1400 mm spaced at 4.5 m.  The beams have atypical arched shape, with the arch converting gradually from a convex type into a concave one.  The beams rest on three steel columns acting as rocker studs. Stiffening is achieved by timber bracing struts and diagonal braces.  The formwork consists of plywood placed on timber purlins. The roof of the building that accommodates water attractions is arranged at 3 planes. All the roofs are 5-degree monopitch roofs.  The total roof area is around 4500 m2. The water park area features 5 wooden bridges made of Siberian larch in combination with stainless steel components.
