Salt Store House in Hodonín

The rectangular building, 19.44m x 26.024m in size, has a gable roof with a slope of 10 degrees. All the primary and auxiliary load-bearing structures lying above ± 0.000 level are based on the use of timber. The primary load-bearing structure consists of 6 frames. They have been designed with double posts and inserted cross beams with a round dowel pin joint. The auxiliary load-bearing structure consists of rails and purlins, which together with the tie rods form the bracing to ensure the overall stiffness of the building. The external cladding combines battens and polycarbonate. The roof deck is constructed out of fibre-cement corrugated roofing sheets.
