The roof structure shaped like an asymmetric cylindrical segment is interrupted by the built-in space unit. The roof of around 2500m2 is supported by arches set at 5.15m centres. Along the perimeter and in approximately half the building width the beams rest on RC columns. A steel trussed girder is placed under the ridge to span over 30.875m in the swimming pool zone. Here, the beams rest on the trussed girder. There are purlins set at a grid of 1.7m between the beams to carry the cold deck roof. The contract also included acoustic ceiling combining timber boards and mineral wool.
