The pagoda building, 43.8 x 72.6m in size, is a part of the Hornbach hypermarket premises. The roof assembly is supported by two rings of girders that rest on the steel columns fixed to the foundations. The upper edge of the outside girders lies at a height of + 4.260m. The inner ring has its upper edge at a height of + 8.040m. They act as single-span beams in the structural system. The upper ring of girders supports a hipped roof constructed out of tapered beams with a slope of 11 degrees and provided with tie rods spaced 4.8m apart. There are cranked rafters laid at a slope of 11 and 22 degrees and using the same spacing of 4.8m onto the lower girder ring and to the side of the upper girders. Timber sub-purlins are laid in parallel with the line of the eaves onto the tapered beams and cranked purlins to support the roof panels or translucent polycarbonate sheets.
