Footbridge - Golf course Ostrožská Nová Ves

The structure of the bridge consists of three solid web straight beams made of glued laminated timber GL28c. As for their structural properties, they act as simply supported beams of 15m span. The structure is hinged into the supports with fixed hinge on one side and sliding hinge on the other side. The bridge deck made of larch timber is laid directly onto the main beams. All main beams are connected to each other by wooden crossbeams that together with steel tension bars provide for spatial rigidity of the bridge. The guardrail posts are mounted to the end beams from the outside and a wooden handrail is fastened to the posts. The guardrail fill consists of stainless steel panels.
